Asbestos case against Johnson & Johnson, Imerys climbs to $117M in damages

A jury ordered Johnson & Johnson and Imerys to pay $80 million in punitive damages in their latest talc legal setback. That’s on top of the $37 million in compensation the panel awarded a mesothelioma patient who blamed his disease on J&J’s talcum powder.
