Insys drove ‘explosive' opioid painkiller sales by ‘owning’ physicians, Senate report reveals

Among the documents the lawmakers gathered were emails from a sales manager demanding that reps recruit physicians to speak on behalf of the company’s opioid painkiller Subsys and threatening to withhold bonuses from them if they didn’t score one prescription a day for the product.
