Johnson & Johnson takes a $4.8M hit in talc case, but once again pledges to appeal

Make it two losses in recent weeks for J&J and its talc defense—though this time, the damages fell far from the nine-digit mark. After a $325 million verdict last month, a jury ordered J&J to pay $4.8 million to a woman who developed mesothelioma after using talc powder.
